Henan Zhonghua TCM Medical Center was established in 2010. In 2011, it was approved by Zhengzhou Health Bureau as the designated unit of Henan Provincial Medical Insurance and Zhengzhou Municipal Medical insurance. Mr. Zhonghua Xuanyuan, the founder of Zhonghua TCM Medical Center,

is the 49th-generation successor of the Yellow Emperor, with the lineage originating from the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan era. The predecessor of Zhonghua TCM Medical Center was Baoyuantang, a famous clinic in Changgang Town, Eastern Henan, with a history of over 400 years. Baoyuantang was established at the end of the Ming Dynasty and was known far and wide, with the saying "famous within a hundred miles." Baoyuantang values both medical skills and ethics, focusing on helping the poor and disadvantaged.
