It has always been regarded as Guigao, revered as a medical sect and regarded as Yuansou by doctors. Its predecessor was Baoyuan Tang in Changgang Town, which was more than 400 years ago.

Baoyuan Hall in Changgang Town, Sui County, Shangqiu was founded in the late Ming Dynasty. The founder was Xuanyuan Zaishu, the 36th ancestor of Zhenguan who moved to Sui. In the Shangqiu area, Baoyuan Hall is very famous. According to ancient legend, it is famous for hundreds of miles. Baoyuan Tang is a family inheritance that attaches great importance to medical skills and medical ethics. Since its establishment, due to its wide reputation, Fangyuan's famous doctors have clearly instructed patients to go to Changgang Baoyuan Hall to get medicine when writing prescriptions.
